We celebrated Living Wage Week by raising awareness of the importance of paying at least the UK Living Wage. We have been accredited UK Living Wage employers since 2014 and are passionate about the positive difference it makes combined with our inclusive employment programmes.

These programmes include the Edinburgh Guarantee Scheme (EGS), which provides opportunities for young people to apply for a six-month internship so they can gain valuable skills to help them progress to a positive destination – employment, training or further education.

This month we celebrated five years of running the EGS and the achievements of two of our alumni.

Mathew Stachan, now one of our IT Apprentices, won The Prince's Trust's 'Young Achiever of the Year' award for Scotland.
