A win for the company at the PAM Awards

Another win for the company at the PAM awards 2020

We are delighted to have won a prestigious Private Asset Management (PAM) Award for the second consecutive year and to be short-listed in all three categories that we entered. This year, we took the highest accolade in the Innovation category for the development of our Enhanced Diversification proposition. Our strong submissions also led to us being finalists in the Positive Impact and Sustainable Investing categories.

The Innovation Award recognises the institution that has developed the most innovative single solution to boost risk-adjusted portfolio returns and/or the client experience. The win for our Enhanced Diversification proposition, which we launched in 2018, validates our enduring commitment to stay relevant to our clients’ ever-changing needs. We are pleased that its characteristics and performance shone through to the judges.

Commenting, Richard Charnock, CEO of discretionary investment management from abrdn, said:

“To win one award and be finalists in two other categories is no mean feat. It is testament to the depth of talent and capability within our business. PAM has some of the toughest adjudication and most rigorous submission criteria in our industry. I am grateful to all involved, who really helped showcase the commitment to clients, passion and hard-work that goes on every day.”

The ceremony took place as a live virtual event on Thursday 9 July 2020.

Investment involves risk. - The value of investments, and the income from them, can go down as well as up and an investor may get back less than the amount invested. Past performance is not a guide to future results.
