Phase 2 Wrap upgrade

Earlier this year the second phase of the Adviser Experience Programme delivered the Wrap technology upgrade, one of the largest and most complex platform changes that we’ve made in the 17 years since we launched Wrap.

The latest enhancements to Wrap

During the second phase of the programme we upgraded Wrap. It’s now more flexible, faster to use with comprehensive reporting and a full advice suite. Read on for more details of the enhancements we’ve made.

A modern, intuitive user interface

The user interface is a leap forward in design and usability, enhancing your Wrap user experience. Highlights include:
  • Simplified navigation – helping to make the platform easier to use. The new interactive dashboard means that your view can be tailored by creating filters to only show the workflow information you want to see
  • Personalised notifications so you can set these up for key tasks that are important to you
  • New accounts section giving you a client-centric view of all product holdings, valuation, performance and transaction history – all in one place
  • Advanced search facility so you can quickly search for clients that need your support, such as those approaching retirement, with unused ISA allowances, or need to switch investments or rebalance
  • Adjustable settings with the option to change your view to dark mode. You can also easily update and manage your password and personal information.

Faster new client journeys

We’ve made client journeys faster online – reducing the need for paperwork, so you can spend more quality time with clients.
  • New prospect client screens to help you effectively manage and build your client base
  • Add new clients faster with our simplified journey that includes dynamic validation that avoids the need to re-key details
  • New quick quote process requires much less information to be inputted upfront, making getting a quote much quicker
  • New investment selection tool making it easier to find and select funds/ETIs
  • Digital signatures so you can capture client signatures quickly and easily
  • Clear documentation prompts so it’s easy to see what you need to send us, which documents need a signature and any actions you need to do to onboard a new client

Faster client servicing

We’ve listened to your feedback and used this to help improve key tasks for servicing existing clients - so you can get things done more quickly without the hassle.
  • Improved key journeys such as edit regulars, top ups, change and verify bank details, adding/editing beneficiary details
  • Improved tool integration offering better link up with leading tools for improved client data outputs, plus a new simpler research investment tool
  • Better valuation and performance data to make it easier to analyse client portfolios with improved graphs, investment insight data, sector allocation view, top ten holdings and geographical split of investments
  • New product pages providing detailed product data to help you manage your client’s portfolio more efficiently

Improved illustrations

We’ve improved our ISA and PP illustrations, to help make them more visually engaging for your clients, whilst still containing all of the essential information required.

Full advice suite with new Flexible ISA and multiple personal portfolios

We've delivered a fuller suite of products to help meet the needs of your client base. The introduction of flexible ISA and multiple personal portfolios will help you fully maximise client tax allowances and support family wealth planning.
  • Greater flexibility - You can give your clients the option to withdraw money from their ISA as needed and put it back again without affecting their annual allowance
  • Improved ISA journeys - it’s now quicker and easier to set up a new ISA on Wrap
  • Multiple personal portfolios – you can create up to five personal portfolios to support specific client savings goals, at no extra cost
  • Align the investment approach to each specific savings goal at no extra cost
  • Clients can view each of their personal portfolios in the client portal to keep track
  • Enhanced ISA and personal portfolio illustrations - clear and comprehensive illustration information that can be created faster using the new streamlined quick quote journeys
