Platform charge calculator
Give your clients an indication of their Wrap platform charge at a glance.
The platform charge calculator helps you work out the platform charge your client could be paying without having to go through the Wrap new business application process.
The output is reliant on you inputting the correct charge terms and values appropriate to your firm. You’ll need to have this to hand to complete the process.
Please be aware that the calculator’s output is not a quote and gives estimated charges based on the information provided.
Process for new customers not already on the platform
For new clients not yet on Wrap or accounts opened after 31 May 2024, details of the new standard terms can be found here.
- Insert the account name, firm name and date of account opening (for new customers use the present day) in the appropriate cells on the “Inputs” tab.
- Enter the values for each tier in the charges table on the calculator, only populating the green cells.
- Populate the Product Admin Charge cells for SIPP and Bonds. For SIPP this will be zero, for Bonds see the link above.
- In the Platform Eligible Assets (PEA) column on the right of the table, fill in appropriately based on the PEA held within each product.
- Additionally, add in the combined Platform Eligible Assets from the other accounts included in the family link, if appropriate.
- Once all the cells have been populated with the correct information, select the “Outputs” tab which will provide a breakdown of the charges for the account.
