What does the company do? Assura is a FTSE 250 real estate investment trust that designs, builds, invests in and manages GP surgery, primary care and community healthcare buildings in the UK. Why do we like the investment? We like the company for its diversified selection of properties which have long and inflation-linked leases (which are effectively government-backed). The company has a strong brand and a good reputation together with a proprietary database which creates a barrier to entry.
