Financial Planning Director
Matthew Beddall is a Chartered Financial Planner with almost 30 years of experience in the wealth management profession.
His father was regularly visited by 'the man from the Pru' throughout his childhood, and gave his encouragement to join these meetings during his teens to gain an understanding of finance and how to plan for the future. Matthew took up his first role as a home service financial adviser with Prudential at the age of 21.
Matthew was later asked to join Barclays Private Wealth Management, where he spent most of his time working with private clients, before joining Grant Thornton in 2014. Since then he's acted for business owners and high net worth individuals, specialising in retirement planning advice - including the complexities associated with defined benefit transfer advice - alongside tax-efficient investment solutions and intergenerational wealth preservation.
Matthew takes the time to really get to know his clients before providing advice and working with them to help secure their financial future. His philosophy focuses on building and maintaining a long-term trusted relationship with his clients, showing distinct quality, integrity, and excellence. He prides himself in providing an invaluable service through effective communication and ensuring his clients are kept informed of issues that may affect their financial wellbeing.
As part of his dedication to strong client focus, he works closely with other professionals such as accountants and solicitors to ensure his clients receive the best and most comprehensive advice.
