abrdn broadens global talent in real assets to help drive ambitious growth agenda
02 November 2021abrdn has made three new appointments to its real assets team, building on existing expertise and client reach by bringing new senior talent into the business. The appointments support the company’s ambitious growth agenda and strengthens the focus on delivering best in class capabilities to our global client base.
Tom Stenhouse has joined as Head of Real Estate Strategic Capital from Patrizia. Tom is based in London and will focus on developing bespoke mandates for key institutional clients. Tom will also take on management of existing segregated mandates for some of our existing larger Asian clients.
Satyan Sanghrajka joins as Head of APAC Real Estate Business Strategy & Investment Specialists. Stayan will be be based in Singapore and joins from UBS with a dual remit to deliver growth in our Asia Pacific real estate business, along with accelerating the flow of Asia Pacific capital into our UK & European capabilities.
Andrea Goss has also joined the Investment Specialist team from Eastdil Secured. Andrea is an Investment Director and will be working with our global client base across a broad range of strategies, both existing and new.
These appointments offer even greater expertise across our Real Estate business, offering the opportunity for deeper connections with both existing and new clients. They will enable us to better serve the constantly evolving needs of global real estate investors. We continue to expand our capabilitiesas evidenced by our stake in Tritax, leading to an increased opportunity set across the UK & European logistics space for our clients. Additionally, through our leading European residential platform, we see continued demand for residential exposure whilst, more broadly, we are working with clients on low carbon office transition and Natural Capital strategies, using our extensive expertise in the office and sustainability space.
