Today we have announced that Standard Life Aberdeen plc has now been renamed abrdn plc.

This marks a key, and very exciting, milestone as we deliver on our strategy. The new brand symbolises the transition underway to bring a clarity of focus, renewed sense of purpose and drive for sustainable growth for clients, customers and shareholders.

Our new brand is much more than changing our name, it’s about coming together under a single global brand focused on enabling our clients and customers to be better investors.

Introducing abrdn

Now that our corporate name has changed you may see our new brand being used in some digital and print media as well as at the abrdn Scottish Open taking place this week.

In addition, Standard Life Aberdeen’s LinkedIn account is now abrdn. If you followed the Standard Life Aberdeen account you do not need to do anything. If you aren’t a follower and would like to see our latest news please start following us today .

Though we’ve made some changes today, you’ll likely have noticed the email you received and this website is still branded as Standard Life. This is because our client brands Standard Life Wrap and Elevate, Aberdeen Standard Investments and Aberdeen Standard Capital have not changed to the abrdn brand yet, this will happen after the summer. We’ll make sure you get plenty of notice ahead of the switch over happening.

To support you as we make the transition to abrdn we’re bringing all you need to know together in one place. We’ve added the latest comms and a Q&A and will add more information shortly. Please take a look and the new content and look out for further updates via email.

As part of our announcement today we’ve also confirmed a major new charity partnership with Hello World.
