What does service mean?

We are proud to have partnered with industry champion, the lang cat, on Answering the Call: a thought-provoking white paper, that examines the perception of service within the advice industry.

The paper aims to challenge the status quo, highlight the complexity of the subject and help those in the industry to assess and identify which elements of service are most important to them. Containing a wealth of both qualitative and quantitative research, it draws on valuable insights, straight from the minds of advice professionals.

Three thoughts to challenge

  • Service is a catch-all phrase where even the word itself means different things to different people, but service equals satisfaction.
  • Service is experienced differently by different role types. Furthermore, service is experienced differently according to different adviser firm types and propositions.
  • The advice profession can’t currently assess service until the point of actually experiencing it.
